Revising your Relationship with Money (Oct, 2019)

I was inspired earlier to write about revising the relationship with money. So here we go.

Most of us have issues with manifesting money and don´t understand how and why all the work put into making that happen, doesn´t often bring the desired results. The reason for that is rooted in your thinking about money- whether it is evil, too hard to get, etc. Those are statements that do everything to keep that desired money flow away from you. It is important to notice what is happening in your world in regards to money. Know what you are getting and change your behavior towards the results. Don´t entertain something you don´t like but focus on what you want and persist in that feeling in already having it.

However, a great way of speeding up that whole process is by revision. By revising your relationship with money from an earlier stage in your life- which is for most of us our childhood- you will clear it for good. It´s not necessary to go through every negative money experience, just start somewhere far back when money first was an issue for you or better where you probably overheard your parents talk negatively about money.- Since time does not exist and everything happens now, your changes will affect your current reality and results will start to show up in your world.

How to do it:

  • Think about a scene when you were a kid and experiencing something negative in relation to money.-Maybe your parents were talking about not having enough money or you wanted something but you couldn´t buy it, etc.
  • Now change that scene into you and your family being rich. Hear your mum/dad tell you that you can have that toy it´s no problem, because you are rich and can afford it, etc. Go even further and see where you guys live and imagine a beautiful, peaceful and rich life.- Just everything you could think of you wanted to have if you were rich back then.

(Should you not be able to imagine a specific scene, just go general. Imagine you and your family being rich and doing something rich people do. Hear them or yourself say positive statements about your lifestyle. Enjoy everything as much as you like.

Should you struggle with imagination use “I remember when” instead. For example, “I remember when I was a kid and we were very rich and …” etc. Just add everything you wanted to have as a kid and what lifestyle you wished you had instead of the one you had. Speak it as if you are really just talking about the amazing childhood you had. It can be out loud or in silence.)

The importance in revising scenes from the past is to change them to the positive experience you wished you had. It´s extremely powerful and you will already start to feel differently while doing so.

How often should you revise the same scene?

In my experience and opinion once is enough. However, sometimes (depending on your own limitations concerning time) doing it once seems not to do the trick and you will have to go again.- It does not really matter how often you do it, just make sure it is done once you start seeing the evidence of the changes.
