Phone Self-talk Technique

OK, Monday I discovered an amazing technique while doing my self-talk in front of the mirror- as I tend to do a lot. Anyhow, I mostly do it in the morning or at night when brushing my teeth- and sometimes I do it while passing the mirror. I would say something nice to myself or just “Thank you”.

So I was heading to the store because I had to get stuff for breakfast .- Since I skipped dinner last night I was hungry and wanted to get things done so I could eat.  However, I took my phone and my headphones and was planning on listening to music on the go. BUT somehow I didn´t feel like listening to music, instead, I wanted to do an extended version of my mirror self-talk.- It´s not unusual for me to have my headphones on and not listen to music or anything….that´s what I sometimes just like doing. So I started talking to myself as if I was on the phone with a friend. I was telling her about all my desires that manifested, how I was enjoying them and how my life was changing. I was giving “her” all the news she didn´t know yet and hearing her excitement for me and her surprise “What, really? and “Oh wow, that´s amazing!” etc. Everything was as if it was actually happening. 

The fact that I was “on the phone” it was nothing strange to do while standing in line to pay for my groceries. I continued my self-talk on the phone until I got home- just like I normally would when actually talking with a friend on the phone. Arriving at home I was still on the phone with her and that felt so strongly real as if I actually was on the phone with a friend. It was everything so natural as if it was happening.- On top of that I really was living in my wish fulfilled, I truly had all that I desired now. No doubt about it, no need to do anything extra. It was mine and it was done- no doubt about that!

What I love about this new technique I came up with is that it is super natural. You are not pretending or trying too hard. You are just being as you are- without having to be in a meditative state or such. You can pick up that “phone call” or “dial” that friend anytime you feel low, in doubt, etc to be back on track of your desires. People don´t look weird at you, because they think you are on the phone with someone while in public- maybe making sure your phone is on silent in case someone really calls you. However, no one knows you are having self-talk, because you really seem to be engaged in a conversation with someone. It´s so easy- almost too easy not to do it and benefit greatly from it.

Here are the steps for the phone self-talk technique:

  • Take some time out to make a phone call (either in public, in your car, etc)
  • Use a phone with headphones, earphones, etc – just something you normally make phone calls with. (You can also just hold your phone if you prefer that- or have no headphones handy)
  • Start a conversation with someone, a friend, family, member, etc as you usually would do when you have good news to tell.
  • Be in the moment and have a “real” conversation.
  • Make sure to ONLY talk positively and about what you want to manifest (as if you already have it!!!)

Don´t make those phone calls only when you have time and sit down and talk. Do it as you would, when you are chatting with a friend. Have them on the phone while you´re cooking dinner, while you are walking and generally doing your daily things- as you would do when you are actually having a friend on the line. Make it as part of your daily routine- like the calls with your bff, etc. It should not feel like something new you are trying, it´s important to be as natural as every other private phone call you normally have. After a few minutes, you should feel how natural and real it seems- you will forget that you are talking to yourself.

It´s really up to you if you use an actual friend, family member, etc to have those conversations with, but I prefer someone who doesn´t exist- at least not currently in my reality. I noticed that it´s also a great way to manifest a new friend- or whoever you prefer to talk to.  By using an actual friend I mean imagining them on the other end- DO NOT talk to that person in reality! The problem there is, they would ask you questions you might not be prepared to answer which might end up making you feel like lying, etc.

The key to this technique is to fully align you with what you want. So keep these phone self-talks between you and yourself. 

The first time I used this technique I was on the phone with “my friend” for a little over 1 hour and I was feeling great!  I was calm and weirdly feeling like in a meditative state- completely mindful and serene. Since then I have had this complete inner silence that you only get when you are in deep meditation and in tune with your true being, your I AMness. I really love it and already made this new technique my daily routine. 

I´m sharing this with all of you, to help you get to the level of the full understanding of your true being. The sooner you understand that you are the only one to shape and form our reality, the faster you get to live the life you desire.

There is no one out there who holds our destiny in their hands, just the right state and thinking makes the difference.
